Malaybalay City – Recently, the Malaybalay City Government Water Supply System (MCGWSS) which is the main water supplier of the Malaybalay City Water District has been conducting series of repair and maintenance activities of the transmission line along the Kibalabag Creek from the intake dam to Kimambong Treatment Plant.
These series of activities have caused water interruption in most of the served barangays of MCWD. Nevertheless, repair and maintenance activities are necessary to ensure effective operation of the Kimambong Plant which is providing 70% bulk water supply to MCWD.

To prevent further damage and water losses due to these leakages, the technical and field personnel of MCGWSS scheduled repair and maintenance activities of the transmission line along the Kibalabag Creek to the Kimambong Plant as shown in the photos.
Prior to these scheduled repair activities, the MCGWSS headed by Mr. Tomas Taga through Mr. Stephen Caroro and Mr. Florante Bergado coordinated with the MCWD management for information dissemination through press release, social media announcement (Facebook Account: Malaybalay City Water District) and SMS Txt Blast.
