MCWD Conducts Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction Campaign

Malaybalay City – The Malaybalay City Water District (MCWD) conducted a simultaneous hanging of posters and tarpaulins in the different government offices, academic institutions and barangays of the City of Malaybalay on September 7, 2018 relative to its Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction Information Drive.
The MCWD has identified 52 areas wherein the tarpaulins and posters will be hung in coordination with the different government offices, academic institutions, and barangays of the City of Malaybalay.
This NRW campaign is in line with the district’s commitment to provide excellent water service to the people of the City of Malaybalay. This NRW Project is one of MCWD’s priority projects under the management of General Manager Glenrose T. Ledesma.
The said posters and tarpaulins call for the cooperation of MCWD customers in reporting leaks and illegal connections through the telephone and cellphone numbers indicated in the tarpaulins and posters which are accessible 24/7.
The MCWD believes that the active participation of the public will greatly help in the effective implementation of the NRW Management Program.
